How To Get Into Day Trading

If you would like to know how to get into day trading you’ve come to the right place. I can teach you how to get into day trading by following these steps:

Step 1: Open up a demo practice account with the broker of your choice. You can open up a demo account to day trade stocks, futures, cfd’s, forex, crypto, whatever it is you want to day trade. Stocks are good to day trade if you have $25,000 in your account.

Futures and CFD’s are good if you do not. CFD’s can be traded for $500 and even less. They are a great way to practice and for small accounts so you can build them up.

You need to practice in your demo practice account. Practice placing orders to buy and then to sell. And to sell (go short) and then to buy back again.

When you short you’re borrowing shares/contracts from your broker to “sell” onto the market to somebody and you’re doing this because you believe you can buy back shares/contracts at a lower price and then you get to keep the difference in price to when you sold them in the market.

Keep practicing in your account until you learn how to get yourself into day trades and then get yourself back out again. Going both long and short. Learn how to use bracket orders to make it easy on yourself by placing your entry order, profit order, and loss order all into one order that handles all three orders and cancels appropriate order automatically.

But it’s also a good idea for you to learn how to use Limit Order, Stop Orders, Stop Limit Orders, and of course Market Orders. And the proper use of each of these orders by practicing them in your demo practice account.

When you’ve reached the point where you can place all your orders without making any mistakes you’re ready for the next step.

Step 2: Either create or purchase a day trading system that has the following criteria:

a. Must have been backtested and or forward tested for at least 2 years.

b. Must have a success rate of 85% or higher. Success rate must be 85% or higher for all three calculations which are your entry, your profit, and your loss. Profit and loss must be calculated after entry.

c. Must have a 1:1 ratio or better between the profit and the loss.

d. Practice Day Trading system in your demo practice account to make sure everything is working properely. Once it is you’re ready for the next step.

Step 3: Fund your broker account and use the day trading system to start taking day trades.
